CP 101 is a general purpose grade masking tape with medium-high adhesion, suitable for various applications including bundling, packaging, holding, splicing, masking, and labeling. It features a crepe paper backing and a blended rubber-based adhesive, providing good quick stick and holding power on multiple substrates, particularly cardboard. The tape is available in standard widths of 18 mm, 24 mm, 36 mm, 48 mm, and 72 mm, with a standard length of 55 m. The physical properties include a tensile strength of 18 lbs/in width, adhesion to stainless steel of 35 oz/in width, a thickness of 4.9 mils, and an elongation of 9.5%. It operates effectively within a service temperature range of 60¬8F to 150¬8F (16¬8C to 66¬8C). Proper storage conditions are recommended to maintain performance, including keeping the tape in its original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and using it within 12 months of shipment.
