Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas LED Drivers IR2D07

The IR2D07 is a current-sink constant current driver designed for driving LEDs and LED displays. It features a 16-bit shift register and a 16-bit data latch, allowing for precise control of LED brightness. The driver operates with a maximum clock frequency of 20 MHz in non-cascade conditions and 16.6 MHz in cascade conditions. The constant current output can be set between 2 to 60 mA using an external resistor or constant current source. The input level is compatible with CMOS logic, and the device is housed in a 28-pin SDIP package made of plastic. It is important to note that the IR2D07 is not rated for radiation hardness and is not suitable for high-reliability applications such as aerospace or medical equipment.
