The M18 BGS photoelectric sensor, model PSS-YC10DNBR-E2, features background suppression technology, allowing stable detection of both white and black targets at a fixed distance of 10 cm. It operates with a red light source at a wavelength of 660 nm and has a response time of up to 0.5 ms. The sensor supports NPN NO/NC output configurations and is designed for a supply voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC, with a maximum consumption current of 20 mA and load current of 100 mA. The device is housed in a compact cylindrical design with an 18 mm diameter, making it suitable for installations with limited space. It is rated IP67, ensuring protection against dust and water, which makes it appropriate for harsh environments. The sensor includes built-in circuit protection against short circuits, overloads, and reverse polarity.
