The PR18S-DM3DPR-E2 is a retro reflection photoelectric sensor designed for non-contact detection of opaque objects at a maximum distance of 3 meters, utilizing a TD-09 reflector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC and features selectable output configurations including NPN and PNP in normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) modes. The sensor has a response time of less than 8.2 milliseconds and is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output status. Constructed with a plastic housing (PBT), the sensor is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It can withstand ambient temperatures from -15¬8C to +55¬8C and humidity levels of 35-85% RH (non-condensing). The device includes built-in circuit protection against short-circuits, overloads, and reverse polarity, ensuring reliable operation in industrial applications. The sensor connects via an M12 connector or a 2-meter cable, providing flexibility in installation.
