The Model 500 Dual Stand Chemical Fume Assembly provides industrial-strength chemical fume extraction for two simultaneous workstations. Our Model 500 Heavy Duty Industrial Fume Extractor anchors this system with support of two Fume Extractor Stands and (2) 7 heavy duty extractor arms. This configuration provides multiple operators with powerful airflow and source capture fume control without the need for exterior venting or make-up air generation. The Fume Extractor Stands mount to the floor and can be placed at varying distances from the Model 500. The HD Extractor Arms mount to the Elevated Fume Stands and extend up to 7 feet from the center of the stands mounting plate. The arm has three bend locations for multiple positions and angles, allowing greater flexibility and placement. The extensive amount of activated carbon filtration makes this unit very unique and allows for operators to have access to a large amount of filtration. This system features four 42 lb Activated Carbon Filters for industrial applications. Activated Carbon Filters capture fumes utilizing the millions of pores on the pieces of carbon. The large surface area created from the pores allows the carbon to adsorb compounds in the air to remove the contaminant. Adsorption occurs when the pollutant sticks to the outside of the carbon. Once the filters become saturated, the operator must properly dispose of the carbon and refill the filter frames with Sentry Air Systems Activated Carbon. The refillable filter frames allow for easy filter replacement and low-cost maintenance. Specialty Blended Filter Media may also be utilized with this unit and includes acid gas, mercury, aldehyde, and ammonia filters. Product Features:
