The S8-2405V-HR is a UL-approved miniature SPST normally open reed relay designed for high voltage switching up to 1000 V DC or AC peak, with a 2.5 A carry current and 5 kV isolation across contacts. It features a 7 kV isolation voltage between contact and coil, a nominal insulation resistance of 10^14 Ω, and a contact capacitance of 0.5 pF. The relay operates with a 24 V DC coil, has a maximum switching power of 100 VA, and an operate time of 1 ms with a diode fitted. The package is a compact, epoxy-encapsulated nylon case with square tin-plated pins.
