Sensata Technologies Reed Relays S8-1204-HR

The S8-1204-HR is a UL-approved miniature SPST normally open reed relay designed for high voltage switching applications up to 350V DC/300V AC with a 12V DC coil. It features a 4kV isolation rating across contacts, a 7kV isolation voltage between coil and contacts, a maximum carry current of 2.5A DC, and a contact resistance of 150mΩ max. The relay operates at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, with a storage range of -40°C to +125°C, and has a nominal insulation resistance of 10^14Ω. Its epoxy-encapsulated nylon case houses rhodium contacts and tin-plated pins, with typical contact capacitance of 0.5pF and an operational lifetime of 10^7 cycles at 100W switching. The diode-fitted operate and release times are 1ms and 0.5ms respectively.
