The DAT71205PU is a UL-approved, normally open, high-voltage reed relay with 5kV isolation between contacts, designed for applications requiring high reliability such as cardiac defibrillators and test equipment. It features a tungsten contact material for switching up to 3.5kV DC or AC peak with a maximum switching current of 2A and carry current of 3A. The relay has a 12V DC coil, an operate time of 3.0ms, and a release time of 2.0ms with a diode fitted. It is panel mounted with wire wrap terminals for high voltage connections and has a maximum contact resistance of 250mΩ (typical 100mΩ). The isolation voltage between coil and contacts is 17kV, and the operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C. The device measures 50.8mm in length with two M4 clearance holes at 50.8mm centers for mounting.
