The SC508/SC508A is a synchronous buck controller with an integrated 200mA fixed 5V LDO, designed for point-of-load and automotive power applications. It operates from an input voltage of 4.5V to 46V and supports output voltages up to 5.5V, with higher outputs possible using external components. The device features adaptive on-time control for high efficiency across load ranges, programmable soft-start, power-save modes, and integrated protections including thermal shutdown and current limiting. It is packaged in a 3 mm × 3 mm, 20-pin MLPQ and is lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant. The SC508A variant is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive use.
