The SC4612MLTRT is a synchronous buck switching controller designed for wide input voltage applications requiring low output voltages down to 500 mV. It is packaged in an MLPD-12 surface-mount format with dimensions of 4.00 mm nominal length and 3.00 mm nominal width. The device operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 28 V and features a gate drive capability of up to 1.7 A. It supports programmable switching frequencies up to 1.2 MHz, asynchronous soft-start to prevent output bus disturbances, and hiccup-mode current limitation with RDS-ON sensing. The controller includes built-in shoot-through protection, thermal shutdown, and is fully RoHS and WEEE compliant. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 45.3 °C/W for the MLPD package, and the operating junction temperature range is -40 °C to +125 °C.
