Semtech Corp. Video Processing GS9020ACFV

The GS9020ACFV is a serial digital video input processor designed for deserializing SMPTE 259M serial digital signals. It features built-in Error Detection and Handling (EDH) to ensure data integrity from the serial digital interface (SDI). The device includes internal 75,Ѷ termination resistors for seamless integration with other Quarktwin products, such as the GS9035A Reclocker and GS9025A Receiver. This processor supports a range of functionalities, including a parallel to serial converter, NRZI scrambler for re-serialized EDH-compliant data output, and EDH insertion and extraction according to SMPTE RP-165. It generates noise-immune timing signals, such as horizontal sync and vertical blanking, and offers configurable features like FIFO reset pulse, user-controlled output blanking, and ITU-R-601 output clipping. The GS9020ACFV operates within a temperature range of 0¬8C to 70¬8C and is packaged in an 80-pin LQFP format. It provides both I¬=C and 8-bit parallel port interfaces for external access to error flags and device configuration. This product is suitable for applications requiring SMPTE 259M serial digital reception, including composite and component standards, and is designed for cost-effective EDH insertion and checking in serial routing and distribution systems.
