Semtech Corp. Clock/Timing - Application Specific ACS8525T

The ACS8525T is a highly integrated clock generator designed for SONET/SDH applications, supporting bit rates up to OC-3/STM-1. It features three SEC inputs that can operate at frequencies of 2, 4, and 8 kHz, as well as multiples up to 155.52 MHz. The device provides two SEC clock outputs, with one supporting TTL/CMOS up to 155.52 MHz and the other PECL/LVDS up to 311.04 MHz. It includes robust input clock monitoring, automatic hit-less source switchover, and supports multiple operational modes including Free-run, Locked, and Digital Holdover. The ACS8525T operates on a single 3.3 V supply and is compatible with 5 V I/O. It is packaged in a 64-pin LQFP and is compliant with RoHS and WEEE standards. The operating temperature range is -40 to +85¬8C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
