Dropping a flashlight in hazardous areas can result in broken or cracked bulbs that remain glowing long enough to ignite an explosion. Bright Star Safety Approved Flashlights are equipped with circuit breakers that are activated when a bulb is damaged. The bulb instantly separates from the battery source to prevent any possible explosion. This unit also features a spare bulb holder and ring hanger. The 2124 Flashlight has a Class II, Group G Rating. The 2206 lantern has a Class I, Group D rating and meets OSHA requirments. The 2124 uses 3 "D" cell batteries and the 2206 uses a single 6V battery. The 2206 lantern will float in the event it is dropped in water. Batteries are not included.
