The SEM Model 5140C/4 is listed on the NSA /CSS 02-01 Listed for High Security Paper Shredder. This system is designed for heavy duty use and is loaded with all of the latest in shredder technology including a 60 Gallon Waste Collection System and Built-in Auto Oiler.
The 5140C/4 Bundled Solution comes standard with a "Factory Installed Automatic Oiler" with a ONE GALLON plastic jug that is "easy" to replace with the "quick disconnect" feature. No pouring to fill messy oil reservoirs. The easy to install Oil Bracket can be positioned on either side or the back of the shredder depending on your space requirements and desire.
This "Bundled" system also includes a "Basic Starter Kit" consisting of One Gallon of SEM high viscosity shredder oil to operate with the auto-oiler to keep the cutting heads operating at optimum performance and a package of waste collection bags.
The Model 5140C/4 also features:
Safety Protection System - SPS controlled safety flap in the feed opening to help prevent accidents and/or overfeeding.
Energy Savings Mode - ESM shuts shredder off when not in use for prolonged periods.
Electronic Capacity Control- ECC - LEDs provide a visual indication of infeed sheet capacity being utilized to help prevent overfeeding and paper jams.
Easy-Switch - ergonomic multi-function switch with intelligent controls and illuminated symbols for operational status of the shredder.
Other features include automatic start/stop, reverse and bag full indicator, casters and a Basic Starter Kit (including One Gallon of Oil, and package of five bags).
This Model meets or exceeds performance requirements, NSA/CSS Specifications 02-01 and is listed on the NSA Evaluated Products List (EPL).
