The SeaLINK® 8209FX digital I/O interface adapter provides 8 outputs and 8 inputs for PC based control and automation of equipment.
The 8 inputs provide optical isolation to protect the PC and other sensitive equipment from spikes and ground loop current that can be generated in industrial environments. The 8 Reed relay outputs provide high quality, long-life, low current (10 Watt maximum), dry contact switch closures. The relays are normally open, and close when energized. A DIN rail mounting option is available.
Sealevel’s SeaIO Classic software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
To simplify installation and configuration, a printed copy of the USB Digital I/O QuickStart Guide is included with all USB Digital I/O orders.
Important: If you are a previous customer of non-FX SeaLINK digital I/O adapters, you must update your SeaIO driver for proper operation of this 8209FX module. Please read this Support Article for details.
