The 3551 PC/104 serial interface provides one RS-232 port capable of data rates to 460.8K bps. The board implements all modem control signals for maximum compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. The 3551 utilizes a 16C850 UART to provide 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs for maximum reliability in data intensive applications. Ordering options allow the choice of UARTs for custom baud rates and 9-bit protocols.
Sealevel’s SeaCOM software makes installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
