The 3542 PC/104 serial interface provides four RS-232 serial ports capable of data rates to 460.8K bps. Each RS-232 port implements all modem control signals for maximum compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. The 3542 utilizes a 16C554 UART that provides 16-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs. Ordering options allow the choice of UARTs with larger FIFOs, support for custom baud rates, and 9-bit protocols.
Sealevel’s SeaCOM software makes installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
