The IEC appliance outlet type J provides snap-in or screw-on mounting with solder or quick-connect terminals, rated for 16 A / 250 VAC (IEC) or 20 A / 250 VAC (UL/CSA). It operates from -25 °C to 70 °C with a pin temperature limit of 70 °C. The housing is UL 94V-0 thermoplastic. Panel thickness support is 0.8 mm to 3 mm for snap-in and up to 8 mm for screw-on. It complies with IEC 60320-3, UL 498, CSA C22.2 No. 42, and IEC/UL 62368-1. The outlet meets glow wire test requirements per IEC 60695-2-11, -12, and -13 for unattended use and is compatible with V-Lock, P-Lock, and Twylock systems. IP20 protected front side. Plant-based plastic variants reduce CO2e emissions by 7.75 kg per packaging unit.
