Application
These tube adapters are extremely useful when making pneumatic connections many times. Standard compression fittings distort a ferrule when making a seal and cannot be used more than once, where the Scanivalve adapters seal on an O-ring. They are also ideal in areas where it may be difficult to get a wrench around the compression fitting.
The function of these adapters is to reduce 1/8 or 1/4 inch input compression fittings to 1/16 or 1/8 inch tubulations. These fittings can be hand tightened to form a leak tight O-ring seal without the use of tools. The tube adapter material is brass, with 1/16 or 1/8 inch steel tubulations. They can be used up to 750 psi.
There is also a cap available, to close off a compression fitting.
