SARTOFLOW® Beta
The SARTOFLOW® Beta System is a crossflow filtration system for Sartocon® cassettes. It is used in pilot and small production facilities for batch sizes up to 1000l. The system is available with Sartocon® 2 plus or a hydraulic SARTOFLOW® 10 holding device for up to ten cassettes. The design and engineering is following cGMP requirements to secure easy startup and qualification of the system.
The SARTOFLOW® Beta system is equipped with a sanitary rotary lobe pump. Some modifications like Siemens sps and level control for automatic diafiltration processes are available on request. The signals of three pressure transducers for feed, retentate and permeate pressure, two magnetic inductive flowmeter for retentate and permeate flow and a 21CFR Part11 compliant digital chart recorder are ensuring full control over the process. Data read out via rs232 interface or a PCMCIA card is possible. The read out software is part of the system. A dry run protection and overpressure switch are protecting the system and the user.
A manual system without pressure transducer, flowmeter and digital chart recorder is available as well.
