Sartoclear® P Caps are especially developed to serve small scale volumes from 50ml to 1000 ml for screening in cell harvest and clarification applications. The cellulose structure forms a 3-dimensional matrix which serves high dirt holding capacities to collect cells and Cell debris. The added filters aids like diatomaceous earth and resin binder additionally bind contaminants like host cell proteins colloids and DNA. Sartoclear P Caps are available in 6 different single layer and 4 different Multilayer combinations which are optimised for different applications. Sartoclear® P depth filter Caps allow a gentle treatment of host cells and thus minimize the release of contaminants like proteolytic enzymes, lipoproteins, host cell proteins and DNA. Sartoclear® P Caps are also used for applications like growth medium purification, separation of cryo-precipitants and the removal of particles and lipids from serum and plasma applications. Validation Sartoclear® Depth filter products are validated according to the USP Quality standards for WFI.
