Sartoclear® P MaxiCaps® are especially developed to serve medium scale volumes from 1 Litre to 100 Litre in cell harvest and clarification applications. The Sartoclear® P MaxiCaps® have a unique linear scalable design which makes them the ideal choice for scale up trials and small scale production processes. The cellulose structure forms a 3-dimensional matrix which serves high dirt holding capacities to collect Cells and Cell debris. The added filters aids like diatomaceous earth and resin binder additionally bind contaminants like host cell proteins, colloids and DNA. Sartoclear® P MaxiCaps® are available in 6 different single layer and 4 different Multilayer combinations which are optimised for different applications. Each grade is available in a 5”, 10” (only for single layer grades) and 20” format. Sartoclear® P MaxiCaps® allow a gentle treatment of host cells and thus minimize the release of contaminants like proteolytic enzymes, lipoproteins, host cell proteins and DNA. Sartoclear® P MaxiCaps® are also used for applications like growth medium purification, separation of cryo-precipitants and the removal of particles and lipids from serum and plasma applications. Validation Sartoclear® Depth filter products are validated according to the USP Quality standards for WFI.
