The STR-W6252D is a PWM switching regulator designed for AC to DC conversion, capable of handling up to 60 W with universal input and 40 W for 230 Vac input. It features integrated overcurrent protection (OCP) and overload protection (OLP) with an integrated timer, eliminating the need for additional peripheral components. The device utilizes avalanche-guaranteed MOSFETs, enhancing its ability to withstand surge voltages without derating breakdown voltage. This regulator includes a start-up circuit that reduces input power consumption and a Bias Assist function that improves start-up performance. It operates with very low current consumption in the non-operating state, typically 5 OºA at 13.8 V.
