The APS12450 is a three-wire Hall-effect latch with advanced diagnostics, designed for automotive and industrial safety systems. It is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 0 with operation up to 175°C junction temperature and a 3 to 30 V operating voltage range. The part includes integrated background diagnostics, overvoltage clamp, reverse-battery protection, and overtemperature detection. It is available in a 3-pin SOT23-W surface-mount package (LH) with a 13-inch reel, 10,000 pieces per reel. The device has a magnetic operate point of 50 G (typical) and a flat temperature coefficient of 0%/°C. The product is ASIL B SEooC compliant when used as specified and features a fault state output to communicate diagnostic data while maintaining compatibility with legacy three-wire systems.
