The APS11500 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect switch designed for automotive safety systems, featuring ASIL A compliance per ISO 26262 and extended AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualification. It operates from 3 to 24 V and supports junction temperatures from -40°C to 175°C. The part includes integrated reverse-battery protection, 40 V load-dump clamping, and internal diagnostics with a defined safe state. The LUAA variant is a 3-pin SIP through-hole package without integrated passives, enabling PCB-less designs. It offers unipolar south magnetic sensing with a switch threshold magnitude of 20 to 80 G for BOP and 10 to 60 G for BRP, and a low output current of 2 to 5 mA. The device supports ferrite, SmCo, and NdFeB magnets with a temperature coefficient of -0.2%/°C.
