Easi-Lite™ 30-Minute Lightweight Gypsum Board

Easi-Lite™ 30 Gypsum Board is a specially formulated 5/8” interior gypsum board that is up to 30% lighter than industry standard 5/8” Type X board. Easi-Lite 30 board features a specially formulated core providing 30-minute fire resistance ratings when used in tested assemblies. Easi-Lite 30 is optimal for use in commercial applications where a 1-hour fire rating is not required. Easi-Lite 30 can replace standard 5/8” Type X in residential ceiling applications, as it provides similar sag resistance and is up to 30% lighter.

Easi-Lite™ 30 Gypsum Board has a fire-resistive, gypsum core enclosed in ivory-colored face paper and a strong liner back paper. Easi-Lite 30 board is available in a variety of lengths and widths.

Complies with ASTM C1396, Non-Type X, Section 5 (Wallboard) and Section 12 (Gypsum Ceiling Board); CAN/CSA-A82.27, and building code requirements where a single layer 1-hour fire rating is not required. Easi-Lite 30 has achieved GREENGUARD [GOLD] Certification and meets CA Section 01350.

Easi-Lite™ Interior Ceiling Board Offers Lightweight Design for Easy Handling, Optimal Sag Resistance

Easi-Lite™ Lightweight Interior Ceiling Gypsum Board is used for interior ceilings in standard residential and commercial applications. It is up to 30% lighter than standard interior ceiling boards, with high performance characteristics for ceiling applications thanks to special sag-resistant additives added to its gypsum core.

Easi-Lite™ Lightweight Interior Ceiling Gypsum Board consists of a solid set, gypsum core enclosed in ivory-colored face paper and a strong liner back paper, for use on interior ceilings where framing is spaced up to 24" (610 mm) o.c.

Easi-Lite™ Lightweight Gypsum Board Makes Installation and Handling Easier.

Easi-Lite gypsum board, which is up to 30 percent lighter than standard gypsum boards and can be used for both interior ceilings and walls in residential and commercial applications. The lightweight design enables quicker and easier installation, reducing strain and fatigue for the do-it-yourself homeowner or contractor. This new wallboard is easy to score and snap for improved installation. Easi-Lite is designed with sag resistance and is ideal for 1⁄2-inch ceiling applications, allowing for one board type to be used on the interior walls or ceilings.

Easi-Lite Gypsum Board is light weight, easy to handle and ideal for wall and ceiling applications up to 24” o.c. (610 mm) framing spacing.
