Saint-Gobain CHR SG35 is an industrial-grade adhesive tape made from fiberglass fabric coated with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a high-temperature silicone adhesive. It is designed to withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 260¬8C (500¬8F) and is resistant to tears, punctures, abrasion, and wear. The tape maintains dimensional stability and does not "cold flow" under heavy loads. Available in thicknesses of 3, 5, 6, and 10 mil, and widths ranging from 6.35 mm to 991 mm (0.25 to 39 in), SG35 can be purchased in standard roll lengths of 16 or 33 m (18 or 36 yd), with options for a liner. Its applications include serving as a release surface in the packaging industry, lining guide rails, chutes, and slides, as well as functioning effectively in the composite aircraft industry due to its high-temperature and non-stick properties.
