CHR¬Æ 2915-10 is a heat-resistant fiberglass cloth backing coated tape designed for high-temperature applications. It features a silicone adhesive that provides strong adhesion and excellent temperature resistance, capable of withstanding continuous temperatures up to 260¬8C. The tape exhibits high abrasion resistance and solvent resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments. With a total thickness of 0.254 mm (10 mil), the tape has a backing thickness of 0.140 mm (5.5 mil) and an adhesive thickness of 0.114 mm (4.5 mil). It demonstrates a tensile strength of 307 N/cm (175 lb/in) and an adhesion to steel of 4.4 N/cm (40 oz/in). The dielectric strength is rated at 5,000 volts, ensuring reliable electrical insulation. Applications for CHR 2915-10 include high-temperature splicing, protective wrapping for wires and cables, and masking during welding processes. The product is available in master rolls and can be slit to various widths, providing versatility for different project requirements.
CHR tape solutions include a broad range of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes (PSATs) supporting the most demanding extreme and exacting applications. Substrates include Polyester with silicone, rubber, acrylic, and proprietary adhesive systems.
