This powder produces a dense, hard coating that resists wear due to abrasion, fretting, cavitation & particle erosion. Due to its excellent wear & corrosion resistance, Saint-Gobain’s #290 powders are ideal for coating rolls used in zinc molten metal baths. Saint-Gobain Coating Solutions manufactures a range of zirconia-based thermal spray powders for thermal barrier coatings with excellent wear resistant properties for high temperature applications such as gas turbines & combustion engines.
