When more than one type of protection is required, the solutions can end up being cumbersome. BrushGuard is based on our Equalizer muff family, and a visor attachment, that makes it possible to attach a nylon mesh face shield to the headband. The shield conveniently flips up and out of the way when it is not needed. BrushGuard is recommended for use with outdoor power tools, such as line trimmers, power blowers and lawn mowers. The nylon shield is a convenience shield, and it does not meet ANSI requirements for impact and penetration. Observe that ANSI requires the use of suitable eye protection in addition to the use of face shields.
