All-aluminum construction
Power line filtering and military connectors
Paper automatically aligned and tensioned
Full BIT and diagnostic capability
220 Vac or 28 Vdc power operation
Ethernet interface with built-in print server
TEMPEST and Nuclear S/V
Separate power and data connectors
The FMT40 military cockpit printer is a half-page, monochrome, hardcopy output device designed for use in defense aircraft applications. It incorporates the most advanced ruggedization and thermal printing technology available. This equipment is constructed using environmental management techniques that protect internal components from the effects of shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference. The FMT40 can support graphics printing with the built-in Ethernet print server option. The paper loading process for the FMT family of cockpit printers is the simplest and easiest of any printer on the market. Paper is held securely in the middle of the door and exits the printer at the top of the door opening. Paper loading can be easily accomplished in very dim ambient light. RITEC cockpit printers incorporate anti-jamming technology that virtually eliminates paper delivery problems. The printhead and paper-path mechanism do not require any calibration or adjustment. External power and data interfaces are provided through a single connector. Separate connectors are available as an ordering option.
