Flow Technology, Inc. Fuel Accountability and Management System FUSION

Description
At the heart of the FUSION system is a real-time data display that shows critical fuel information to the crew. Using a sunlight readable color liquid crystal display (LCD), the data is presented as simple numeric and analog color-coded bars. The wheelhouse can be a busy place and so the analog bar display allows the crew to read the data at a glance and optimize fuel use as it occurs. It’s well known that small changes in throttle create dramatic changes in fuel consumption, and lead to significant savings in operating costs. The DAU not only displays real-time data to the crew, but also continuously records all the data onto its integrated hard-drive memory. The data is then downloaded by either the USB port, located on the DAU front bezel, or by optional satellite or GSM-based communication systems. Quick Specs Flow measurement from 12 to 1500 GPH; for engines from 500 hp to 20,000 hp Fluid viscosity range of 1.2 to 25 cst; for distillate and residual marine fuels Flow meter accuracy up to ±0.1% at specific calibration viscosity 12" color LCD transflective touch screen display Wheel house operating temperature of 32° to 122° F (0° to 50° C ) Engine room operating temperature of -40° to 185° F (-40° to 85° C) Key Benefits Fully configurable for any type of marine vessel Real-time sunlight readable wheelhouse display Fully dimmable night time readable Easy to use 'at-a-glance' analog indicators Logged data for all sensors NEMA 0183 GPS interface to display fuel consumption per Nautical Mile Exportable data file for off-board analysis Temperature/viscosit y compensated flow sensors Programmable for multiple fuel types Stainless steel sensor construction Full flow in the event of rotor seizure for uncompromised vessel safety Robust marine-grade components
