The External Digital I/O Module (EDI/O) provides 16 discrete inputs and outputs with a 24 VDC reference.
The module may be used to interface the tester to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) I/O or to fixture actuators such as valves, lights, air cylinders, and other general-purpose discrete devices.
Typical wiring of the EDI/O requires that a cable be run from the module to the DIN Mount Distribution Assembly for establishing a connection to the PLC or other discrete device.
