The RGS80TSX2 is a 1200V, 40A field stop trench IGBT in a TO-247N package, designed for PFC, UPS, IH, and power conditioner applications. It has a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.7V (typical) at 25°C and 2.20V at 175°C, with a maximum power dissipation of 277W at 100°C case temperature. The device withstands short circuits for 10μs at 25°C and 8μs at 150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 0.27°C/W. It is RoHS compliant and rated for an operating junction temperature from -40°C to 175°C.
The RGS80TSX2 is a 10μs SCSOA guaranteed IGBT, suitable for PFC, UPS, IH and Power Conditioner. The RGS series delivers low conduction loss that contributes to reducing size and to improving efficiency of applications.
