The QST8 is a dual PNP transistor integrated in an SOT-457T package, designed for low-frequency amplifier applications. Each transistor has a collector-emitter voltage rating of -12 V, a collector current of -1.5 A, and a collector-emitter saturation voltage of -200 mV max at -500 mA collector current and -25 mA base current. The device has a DC current gain (hFE) range of 270 to 680 at -2 V collector-emitter voltage and -200 mA collector current. It operates with a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C and is housed in a TSMT6 package measuring 2.9 mm × 2.8 mm. The part meets RoHS standards and is supplied in a 3000-piece taping reel.
Devices integrating two transistors are available in ultra-compact packages, suitable for various applications such as pre-amplifier differential amplification circuits, high-frequency oscillators, driver ICs and so forth.
