The EMF5 is a dual transistor device integrating a PNP transistor with a -12V collector-emitter voltage and -500mA collector current, and an NPN digital transistor with a 50V supply voltage and 100mA collector current, housed in a SOT-563 package. It is designed for power management applications, reducing mounting cost and area by combining two transistors in one package. The device operates with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C and a storage temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. Power dissipation is limited to 150mW per element. The device is supplied in a 16mm x 16mm tape and reel configuration with 8,000 units per reel.
Devices integrating two transistors are available in ultra-compact packages, suitable for various applications such as pre-amplifier differential amplification circuits, high-frequency oscillators, driver ICs and so forth.
