The TLC5618CD is a dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for applications requiring precise voltage output. It operates from a single 5 V supply and features a programmable settling time of 2.5 ¬µs or 12.5 ¬µs, allowing for flexibility in performance. The device supports simultaneous updates for both DAC outputs and utilizes a 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, and Microwire protocols. This DAC has a high-impedance reference input and provides an output voltage range that is twice the reference voltage. It includes a software power-down mode and an internal power-on reset to ensure consistent start-up conditions. The TLC5618CD is characterized for operation from 0¬8C to 70¬8C and is suitable for low-power applications, consuming approximately 3 mW in slow mode and 8 mW in fast mode.
