Rochester Electronics PMIC - Supervisors DS1833Z-10+

The DS1833Z-10+ is a PMIC supervisor designed to monitor power supply conditions for microprocessor-based systems. It features a precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and comparator circuit that detects out-of-tolerance conditions on the V_CC supply. When such a condition is detected, the device asserts a reset signal to ensure the microprocessor is reset to an active state. This reset signal remains active for approximately 350 ms after V_CC returns to an acceptable level, allowing time for system stabilization. The device operates within a supply voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V and supports trip points for 5%, 10%, and 15% voltage tolerances. It is available in low-cost TO-92 and SOT-223 packages, making it suitable for various applications. The operating temperature range is from -40¬8C to +85¬8C, ensuring reliability in diverse environments. The internal 5k pull-up resistor simplifies circuit design by reducing the need for additional discrete components.
