RobotWorx Motoman HP5 Robot

The Motoman HP5 is a compact, extra high-speed robot that does not require a large installation space. This machine is similar to the HP3, but features the higher payload of 5 kg. The HP5 offers superior performance in small part applications such as assembly, dispensing, packaging, material handling, and machine tending. Due to its small footprint, the Motoman HP5 can be floor, wall, or ceiling-mounted. The compact design and built-in collision avoidance features with multiple robot control allow up to four robots to be used together to maximize productivity while reducing overall floorspace requirements. Multiple robot control simplifies programming and eliminates cable interference. The HP5 takes advantage of the advanced NX100 controller. The NX100 high-performance controller features the easy-to-use INFORM II programming language and robust PC architecture. The 5kg payload and MotoSim simulation software add to the advantages of the HP5, which has the highest speed in its class.
