Renold Jeffrey XTRA Series Roller Chain H Series (Heavy)

Description
XTRA Series chains incorporate the usual Renold performance enhancing features including solid bushings, ball drifted plate holes, shot peening, and optimum interference fits. The gearing dimensions of XTRA Series chain are identical to our standard ANSI single strand chains and will run on standard sprockets. The larger transverse pitch of double and triple strand chains with heavy duty side plates (H or HV Series) require special sprockets. The XTRA Series chains can be summarized as follows: H Series (Heavy) Heavy Series roller chains are made with one size thicker link plates for greater strength and resistance to link plate fatigue failure. These chains are well suited for heavy duty drive service where high shock loading is such that ANSI standard roller chains do not survive. Single strand Heavy Series roller chains operate over standard ANSI sprockets, however, multiple strand chains require special sprockets because the heavy style link plate increases their transverse pitch.
