The QLX4600SIQT7 is a quad receive-side equalizer designed for high-speed data transmission applications, supporting line rates up to 6.25 Gb/s. It is suitable for advanced protocols such as DisplayPort v1.2, InfiniBand, PCI Express, and 10GBase-CX4. This device compensates for frequency-dependent attenuation in copper twin-axial cables, extending signal reach up to 30 meters on a 24 AWG cable. The equalizer features four independent channels, each with 32 selectable compensation levels, which can be adjusted via external control pins or a serial bus interface. It operates on a single 1.2V power supply, consuming 78 mW per channel, and offers low latency of less than 500 ps. The compact 4mm x 7mm TQFN package is designed for high-density applications, making it ideal for active copper cable assemblies and high-speed PCB traces. Individual channel power-down support is included, enhancing its utility in PCI Express applications.
