Renesas Electronics Corporation Voltage Regulators - Linear ISL9012IRPLZ

The ISL9012IRPLZ is a dual low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator from Quarktwin Technology Ltd. It provides two output channels, capable of sourcing 150mA from Channel 1 and 300mA from Channel 2. The device operates within a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 6.5V and features a low quiescent current of 45¬µA when both LDOs are active. It is designed for high performance with a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 70dB at 1kHz and excellent load regulation of 1% across the full load current range. The ISL9012IRPLZ includes a programmable power-on-reset (POR) function for the VO2 output, allowing for customizable delay times. It is stable with output capacitance ranging from 1¬µF to 10¬µF and can handle an equivalent series resistance (ESR) of up to 200mOc. The device also features separate enable pins for each LDO, a soft-start function to limit input current surge, and built-in current limit and overheat protection. It is packaged in a compact 10-lead 3x3mm DFN format and operates over a temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. This regulator is suitable for applications in portable devices such as PDAs, smartphones, and handheld medical instruments.
