The ISL6597 is a dual synchronous rectified MOSFET driver designed for two independent power channels in a synchronous-rectified buck converter topology. It is packaged in a 16-lead 4x4 mm QFN format, compliant to JEDEC MO-220 QFN outline. The device operates from a single 5V supply and provides 4A typical sink current for the lower gate driver, with 0.4Ω on-resistance and adaptive shoot-through protection. It supports high switching frequencies with fast rise and fall times under 10ns, and includes an enable input and power-on reset. The part supports 3.3V and 5V PWM inputs and features an internal low forward drop bootstrap diode. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for core voltage supplies in microprocessors and high-efficiency DC/DC converters.
