The ICS1893BFIT is a low-power Ethernet physical-layer device (PHY) that supports both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards, compliant with ISO/IEC 8802-3. It operates with a single 3.3V power supply and is designed for use with category 5 cables, capable of handling attenuation over 24 dB at 100 MHz. The device features a fully integrated architecture that includes functions for physical coding sublayer (PCS), physical medium attachment (PMA), and physical medium dependent (PMD) layers, along with auto-negotiation capabilities and auto-MDI/MDIX crossover correction. The ICS1893BFIT supports both half- and full-duplex modes at data rates of 10 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s, and includes diagnostic features such as loopback mode.
