The ICS181M-01T is a low EMI clock generator that produces a spread spectrum output clock from a clock or crystal input. It utilizes a proprietary mix of analog and digital Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) technology to reduce frequency amplitude peaks by several dB, with down spread selection options of -1.25% and -3.75%. The device supports input frequencies ranging from 28 to 75 MHz and is pin and function compatible with the Cypress W181-01. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, the ICS181M-01T operates at supply voltages of 3.3 V or 5 V and is available in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges. The clock output can achieve peak reduction of 7dB to 14dB on odd harmonics from the 3rd to the 19th.
