The IDT72V201L20J is a 3.3V CMOS Synchronous FIFO memory with a 256 x 9-bit organization. It features a maximum read/write cycle time of 10 ns and operates with independent read and write clocks, allowing for flexible data handling. The device includes fixed flags for Empty and Full status, as well as programmable Almost-Empty and Almost-Full flags, which can be set to any depth, defaulting to Empty+7 and Full-7. It is designed for applications requiring high-speed data buffering, such as graphics and interprocessor communication. The FIFO is available in both 32-pin plastic leaded chip carrier (PLCC) and 32-pin plastic Thin Quad FlatPack (TQFP) packages. It operates over an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C and is fabricated using advanced submicron CMOS technology. The device is also 5V input tolerant, making it compatible with various systems. Note that the lead finish (SnPb) parts are in the end-of-life process, with the last time buy expiring on June 15, 2018.
