Cam latches are commonly referred to as quarter-turn latches because they use a key, handle, or knob to turn the pawl 90 degrees to catch on the frame panel.
. Designed mainly for use on light cabinet doors and panels. A distinctive "snap" lets user know that the latch is fully open or fully closed. The dead bolt latches each come with a hex nut for mounting them to a door or panel. The cam is held in place with a lock washer and screw. Plug barrel and hex nut are zinc die cast. Cam, lock washer and screw are made of steel. Nickel plated finish. It is Hex style. For use on panels up to 1⁄4" thick. Cams are straight.
