Ralston Metal Products Limited Console - 3 Piece - Top Unit MPC-101

Application Ralston’s MPC Series consoles are designed to provide protection against dust, dirt and oil for items such as: electronic and electrical controls and instrumentation systems. The MPC is suitable for control functions in paper and saw mills, lumberyards, on factory floors as well as in food processing facilities. The attractive design and finished appearance ensures a quality test console for laboratories, research facilities and offices. Construction The MPC is a three piece engineered console system designed to be pieced together in any combination depending on the required use. Made from 2mm steel the MPC has continuously welded seams ground to a smooth finish. Doors are easily removed by pulling the removable hinge pins from the hidden hinges. Single door base units are designed for hinging on either the left or right side. All doors are sealed with an extruded one-piece polyurethane gasket and secured closed with 1/4 turn DIN type 3mm latches. The concealed hinges on the desk section allows for a 90° opening. Top and desk section doors are held open by self engaging/self releasing mechanical panel arms. The removable rear wall of each section is held secure with M6 torx screws and is sealed with an extruded one-piece polyurethane gasket. The rear wall of the bottom section can be replace with optional rear doors. The 1.5mm galvanized steel removable bottom plates are designed for easy cable access. The MPC bottom units come complete with a depth adjustable 3mm galvanized interior mounting panel. Top, bottom and desk section doors, bodies & panel come with grounding hardware.
