Ralston Metal Products Limited Multi Door Enclosure MD3

Application Ralston’s N12 Multi Door enclosures are designed to provide protection against dust, dirt, and oil for such items as: electronic and electrical controls, large complex instrumentation systems and pneumatic, hydraulic, and complex machine tool controls. Construction All N12 Multi Door enclosures are made from 11 ga. hot rolled steel and have continuously welded seams ground to a smooth finish. The MD enclosures are equipped with four or eight lifting eye bolts complete with solid rubber seals and reinforcing support angles welded to the top of the cabinet. The enclosures come complete with top inner florescent light brackets, 1/4-20 grounding studs for each door, full size back panel behind each door, and panel support brackets to assist in panel installation. Single doors and overlapping doors are also made from 11 ga. hot rolled steel and are equipped with oil resistant neoprene gasket, 1/4-20 grounding studs, removable print pocket, padlocking roller mechanisms and continuous piano hinges. Standard mechanical interlocks are installed in each MD enclosure with the right door being the master door. N12 MD enclosures maintain a rigid construction through the use of body stiffeners, door stiffeners and extra panel mounting studs. The base is pre-punched to provide ease of securing the enclosure to the ground for stability. Hole plugs are provided to seal the pre-punched holes in the case the holes are not used.
