Application
Ralston’s C88 Series consolets are designed to provide a sloped surface of 30 or 60 degrees and to house instrument components, electrical and electronic controls. The desk top, machine, or pedestal mounted consolets provide protection against dust, dirt, and oil in industrial environments containing non-explosive dusts.
Construction
All consolets are made from 14 ga. hot rolled steel and have continuously welded seams ground to a smooth finish.
The door is sealed with oil resistant neoprene gasket and is secured to the sealed (blind) rivnuts in the enclosure with 10-32 captive screws on one side and a continuous piano hinge on the other side. Copper plated 8-32 grounding studs are provided on the box and door.
